Journey to the heart of Bavaria for the extraordinary Oberammergau Passion Play, one of the world’s most unique and celebrated cultural traditions. The Passion Play traces its origins to 1633, when the villagers of Oberammergau made a solemn promise to perform the story of Christ if their community was spared from the devastating plague. Since then, the tradition has continued for generations, with the play being performed only once every ten years.
This special land program will combine the unforgettable Passion Play experience with the opportunity to discover the beauty, history, and culture of Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. From charming Alpine villages and historic cities to breathtaking mountain scenery, this promises to be a memorable European journey centered around one of the continent’s most remarkable traditions.
Planning is currently underway, and the final itinerary and pricing are expected to be available in 2027. Because this is such a special, once-a-decade experience, I am creating a reservation list now for those who are interested.
There is no deposit required to join the list. Once all of the details are finalized in 2027, I will contact everyone on the list and give them the first right of refusal to reserve their place before the trip is opened to others.
